The Words

The words come, they don't go away
fragments of my mind.
The words come and some times they
may stray, just like the many thoughts
I have.
The words come and all I can do is put
them to paaper, so I can find some
peace.

A Week

A week ago today you were finally tired
enough and you went away.
A week ago today I found out one special
woman I loved had gone to be with the
spirits.
A week ago today I started to cry and
I'm not completely done yet.
A week ago today my world started
to really change.

A week ago today

If I Had

If I had my wish come true
It would have been to spend
time with you
I would have moved to
Washington State
Just to see if we should date
You earned my trust and
admeration
With your stubborn determination
That's the way it could have
been
If I had my wish

A sad gryph.

Death of a Friend

Date: Tue, 24 May 2005 22:28:38 +0100 (BST)

From: "Thomas Lane"

Subject: Bobbie (Jewel1foryou)

To: gryphonelder@yahoo.com

I noticed you sent a lot of emails to Bobbie. She loved recieving them especially video she needed that when she was so depressed. Sorry my name is Tom Lane I am Bobbie's father. I hate doing this. No other way to say it. Bobbie died on the 24th May 7am she went peacefully in her sleep. Sorry to tell you this. When we know more of the service i will email you if that is ok.

Tom Lane

I found this email when I got home from work today. She will always be in my heart as she was a strong, smart and loving woman. I always looked forward to our talks and laughing at many things. She was going to turn 40 this year and I think I was starting to fall in love with her. I told her awhile before this final hospital stay that I had a crush on her. I asked her if it was ok to have my pagan friends send healing energy, prayers etc...
She said yes that she would accept all the help she could get.
I knew she was very sick and yet I had hopes she would get better. We had talked about me going up there and visit and she would show me around.
Bobbie, this is for you.

Bobbie you left

Bobbie you left before I could reach out my
hand and touch you.
Bobbie you left without telling me how you
liked my book of poems.
Bobbie you left before I could write a poem
for you.
Bobbie you left before I could say good-bye.

May your body rest in peace and your spirit soar
with the Eagles. And if perchance you look down
and see me, wiggle your feathers so I know it's you.

Scorpio - How true this is

Daily extended (by Astrology.com)You're thinking great big thoughts about great big issues -- politics, religion and education, for starters. When you're in this kind of mood, you need to spend your time with kindred spirits -- people who share your feelings and opinions. If you can't get the whole crew together at your place right now, you can definitely make plans with them. Besides, your sweetheart might like to hear all your ideas privately before you share them with the rest of the world.

Since I don't have a sweetheart of record, but have a few really lovely friends I guess you can fill the spot.

As some of you know I have signed on to be a rapid responder in the NARAL group and I have many other sites and folks that I watch. So for the time being keep an eye on the blogs.
The story of me will continue after I get back from my niece's graduation.

Scorpio - and the begginning of a new day.

The luck you seek may be floating around in the wind, dear Scorpio, but you may not able to see it right now because you have got your mind so focused on only one thing. Don't pigeonhole yourself into only one way of thinking or proceeding. You might be missing a point that is extremely obvious, yet you are not able to see it because you are so intent on the outcome, as opposed to the process.

DEAR ABBY: Would you please give me your definition of maturity? Thank you in advance. -- WONDERING IN WOODBURY
DEAR WONDERING: Maturity is the ability to control our impulses, to think beyond the moment, and consider how our words and our actions will affect ourselves and others before we act.

One of many things that make you go hhhmmm.

The Gospel of Branny - ascribed by/to me on this day

Branny is a friend of mine and we are on several pagan sites together. I share her view in this list as I have seen so many ignore these simple ideas.

Here's my view on things:
1. You cannot judge a book by its cover.
2. Religion does not define one as a person.
3. Actions speak louder than words. However sometimes words can piss others off.
4. Respect can only be earned: if you wish to be respected, you have to earn it by showing others that you respect them.
5. You cannot convince people that your opinion is the only one, others have their own opinions. Granted they don't always agree with yours, but their opinions are as valuable to them as yours is to you.Pay attention, they may be able to teach you a valuable lesson.
6. Calling people names will only result in more name calling, so will insulting people and calling them ignorant and stupid.
7. People are perfectly capable of making up their own minds, there's no need for you to do it for them. If they require your assistance, they will ask you to provide them with your opinion.
8. Weigh your words, they may be heavier than you expected.
9. Piss off a moderator and get banned from lists.
10. Be happy I'm not the moderator.
From the gospel of Branny.
